PassApp has emerged as the most preferred ride-hailing app in the Kingdom with 62.65 percent of people, who participated in a survey carried out by corporate finance firm PROFITENCE favouring it.

In terms of other preferences, PassApp is followed by Grab (23.67 percent), Tada (5.92 percent), Nham 24 (3.06 percent) and Move (1.63 percent).

According to the survey, despite a strong preference for personal transportation, particularly motorbikes, Cambodia’s ride-hailing market has demonstrated steady growth.

Grab and PassApp continue to dominate the market, however, new entrants like Maxim and LMCar (Move) have intensified competition by offering low base fares and favorable driver commission rates.

“The market is expected to grow at 5.62 percent Compound Annual Growth Rate, reaching USD 33.53 million in revenue and 3.74 million users by 2029, with user penetration rising to 20.8 percent.”
