Teuk Chha Resort

Teuk Chha Resort is one of the most attractive destinations in Kampong Cham province, known for its large natural lake with water sourced from underground springs, allowing visitors to enjoy water activities year-round.

Mr. Sean Sokun, the head of the Kampong Cham Provincial Tourism Department, informed the National Radio of Cambodia that the Teuk Chha Natural Resort is a significant draw for both domestic and international tourists. Visitors can come for leisure and to explore Khmer history from ancient times, as the area surrounding Teuk Chha includes a plateau to the north with several hills adjacent to the water and many large streams, such as the Kampong Sa stream.

He further stated that the Provincial Tourism Department has been working hard to organize and enhance the Teuk Chha area, which naturally has spring water, into an attractive tourist destination within the province. They have set up areas for food stalls, seating areas, and other amenities. Currently, this natural resort has been handed over to a private investment company to further develop and increase its appeal. "Teuk Chha Resort has been and continues to be developed. It is arguably the most prominent resort in the province. The road leading to the resort is lined with ancient temples, though most visitors prefer to head straight to Teuk Chha itself, which is about 2 kilometers from the ancient temple to the Teuk Chha spring. The road from Prey Totung to the resort is paved and in good condition, making travel easy. It has seen significant improvements, making it more appealing to tourists, who often visit more than once," he added.

The head of the Kampong Cham Provincial Tourism Department also urged tourists visiting the resort to be responsible for their waste, advising them to properly pack and dispose of their trash in designated bins to avoid littering in the water, which could spoil the beauty of the area.

It should be noted that Teuk Chha Resort is located in Thmey village, Kroch commune, and Thma Da village, Boeng Nay commune, in Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. It is approximately 42 kilometers from the provincial capital of Kampong Cham and about 112 kilometers from Phnom Penh (Wat Phnom), branching off from National Road 7 at Prey Totung Market.
