The Norodom Sihanouk Memorial, also known as the Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk, is a monument commemorating the former King, located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This bronze statue stands 4.5 meters tall and is placed under a 27-meter stupa in the park east of the Independence Monument. The statue, which depicts the former King of Cambodia, cost approximately 1.2 million US dollars and took about 8 months to complete.

During the inauguration day of the statue, public access was tightly controlled, while armed military police stood guard near the statue in October 2013. King Norodom Sihanouk passed away on October 15, 2012, in Beijing, China. His son is King Norodom Sihamoni, and his wife is Norodom Monineath.

The statue is dedicated to King Sihanouk’s achievements in securing Cambodia’s independence from French colonial rule on November 9, 1953.
